Los Angeles Korean Birthday

Happy Birthday Andrew! {Los Angeles Birthday Party Photographer}

This weekend I photographed Andrew's 1st Birthday celebration at Maggiano's at The Grove and it was yet another fantastic event! Andrew's mom was the ultimate "do-it-yourself-er" and her attention to detail was impeccable. The party's theme was Elephant & Friends and the color scheme was classic blue and white. I was excited to see my favorite balloon artist was there (David from Balloon Twister) to entertain both the kids and adults :) The party even had a puppet show at the end which was a fantastic way to keep the kids entertained while the adults chatted and finished dessert. Here are just a few of the many adorable photos from Andrew's party...

Flowers & Design – Junenjan Cake – Hansen’s Cakes Doljabi Poster and Icons – DIY on photoshop Name Banner & Party Hats – DIY, green/blue/gray paper from Michael’s Candy Buffet – candy jars from Container Store, boxes from Paper Source, korean candy/cookies from Hankook Supermarket in Glendale Party Favor Boxes – Papermart Rice Cakes – Happy Rice Cakes Dol Go-Im Towers – DIY, gumballs, lima beans, green beans and sunflower seeds (made by mom and grandma) Puppet Show – Party Puppets Balloon Artist – David from Balloon Twister

Happy First Birthday Nathan! {Culver City Baby Photography}

Little Nathan was, in a word, rad. He was such a chill little baby, much like his super-cool parents - smiling serenely and watching intently as his party went on all around him, relatives and friends alike kissing and hugging him like crazy - and it was one rockin' party - complete with amazing under-sea decor, conceived by his creative mom and awesome event planner Twinkle Events. There were even goldfish swimming around in the beautiful display! It was adorable, and you could tell it was absolutely infused with fun and the joy of everyone who came - tons of smiles and lots of fun stuff for the kids - including a fantastic bubble show thanks to an amazing Bubblologist (didn't even know there was such a magical thing!) at Bubble Mania and Co. - they even allowed all the kids to take turns getting encapuslated in their own personal bubble! Seems like a wonderful time was had by all, thanks for having us there to capture it!

Happy Birthday Jacob! {Orange County Baby Photography}

Little Mister Jacob was SUCH a doll - he rocked his first birthday party with tons of smiles and was a total dream to photograph... and even managed to sneak in a nap!!! What a multi-tasker ;) He was such an easy baby and you can tell his entire group of friends and family just adores him, what a fun group! The party had a delightful teddybear decor thanks to one of our fave event planners whose creative endeavors we have captured several times before, Kiki Events - what a gorgeous set-up! And the candy-bar was what sweet dreams are made of...and sugar-rushes! It was absolutely adorable, the whole thing - and there was a super-funny puppet show to top it all off, by The Party Puppet Show who is always a crowd-pleaser at every event we've seen them at! Thanks for having us there to capture your lovely event!

Happy 1st Birthday Jianna! {Los Angeles Birthday Party Photographer}

You may recognize this family from Jianna's adorable "Destroy the Cake" session on the blog last month... just a few weeks later we photographed them again at the little lady's 1st birthday party! Her birthday was at Maggiano's at The Grove and was quite beautiful. Her pink and yellow color palate was the perfect combination girlie and modern and the flowers were exquisite. The cupcakes on her table looked extra scrumptious topped with pink bubble gum, brilliant! A big hit at the party was the caricature artist, we were even tempted to step in and get ours done but didn't... maybe next time ;) Here are a few of our favorite photos from Jianna's party... enjoy!

Miss Jianna's Destroy the Cake™ Session! {Thousand Oaks Baby Photographer}

I had such a great time photographing this family last week at their home in Thousand Oaks! Little Jianna is turning 1 soon so we took a ton of photos to document this milestone and to use at her birthday bash next month. Her brothers, Elias and Jonas, were both such good sports. Jonas (4) was such a ham for the camera and kept referring to his baby sister as a "princess", he totally melted my heart :) Here are just a few of my favorites from the day... including one of my all time favorite destroy the cake sessions at the very end!
