Los Angeles Pregnancy ...
I had such a great time photographing Stephanie at her home in Santa Monica with her fur-baby Duncas and future baby boy. It was a lovely overcast day on the west-side which made for great outdoor photos and we even managed to get a few in the nursery. Duncas was as well behaved as it gets, he and his mom were both very comfortable in front of the camera which made for such a fun and relaxing session. This fantastic mom-to-be invited all of her closest girlfriends to the shoot so that they could be involved and so that we could capture some of the people she holds most dear at this amazing stage in her life! Super sweet. It was fun to meet them all and get images of them laughing and enjoying one another - even though it was a wildly blustery day at the beach they were all game for whatever ideas I had in mind and we got some beautiful shots (and as you can tell from all the pink - a girl is on the way!). Then we broke off and I snapped some GORGEOUS moments of the expectant parents who are the cutest couple. Love it. Thanks for a great shoot - clearly had a tough time picking just a few to blog! I met Amy and her husband Naveen last week at one of our favorite parks to document her pregnancy, they are expecting their first baby in November! Here are a few of my favorite photos from their session, enjoy!
I first photographed Arlo when he was only six months old and was SO SOOO excited to hear from his momma that he was going to be a big brother! Arlo was such an adorable little baby and I was delighted to photograph him again, he's grown into the sweetest and funniest little boy. Momma also looked stunning, pregnancy definitely suits her! I had such a blast photographing this family, it was a little hard saying goodbye... luckily I'll see them again in a few months to meet their newest addition :) I have a ton of favorites from this session, here are just a few, enjoy!
