A Shoots & Giggles Day with Helping Kids Recover {Los Angeles Pregnancy Photos}

We recently donated our time to do maternity, newborn and kid portraits for an organization (Helping Kids to Recover) that lends a helping hand to educate teen moms about what to expect with their pregnancy and future as a parent. It was a completely wonderful experience and we adored all the sweet Mamas-to-Be (and Dads too!) and babies (SO CUTE right?) so much that we are going to be returning several times a year to continue to capture images for this organization so that these families can have these photos, and beautiful memories, forever! Plus we just had a really awesome time. Thanks guys! And thanks Malia, the amazing and incredibly caring organizer who got us involved and made this happen! It was wonderful meeting you all, we look forward to seeing you again! :)

Expecting Zoe! {Venice Beach Maternity Photographer}

I met Susie and Bart last month in Venice Beach and we had a blast wandering along the boardwalk together taking pictures. These two are a pretty fun-loving couple so Venice Beach was the perfect fit for them! After goofing off at the boardwalk we went down to the canals to take a few more traditional portraits and finally down to the beach at magic hour... so beautiful :) I hope you enjoy a few favorites from our session!

Kirsten, Marvin & Venus... Expecting! {Los Angeles Pregnancy Photography}

I had a blast yesterday photographing Kirsten and Marvin in the park with their precious pooch, Venus. Kirsten was such a beautiful subject to photograph and thanks to America's Next Top Model had picked up some pretty good posing techniques... thanks Tyra :) Of course Marvin and Venus made for great subjects as well. Marvin was super cooperative and very patient throughout the entire session while Venus (who was clearly distracted by the strange sounds of the outdoors) kept her cool and even posed for some head-shots of her own. Expecting Ellie { Palos Verdes Estates Pregnancy Photography }

I had such a blast photographing this couple yesterday afternoon, words can't even express what a joy they were to be around. We traveled all around Rancho Palos Verdes together, stopping at several different beautiful spots and eventually we ended up at Trump National Golf Course... in the exact spot where they were married just three years ago! I had such a hard time picking my favorite images to use on the blog but after agonizing over it all afternoon I finally narrowed it down to the images below. I hope you all enjoy them as much as I do, thanks a  bunch for being so fun and inspiring :)

Lovely and Expecting { Los Angeles Maternity Photography }

To start off I'd like to say I just adored this delightful couple - we had a ton of fun doing this shoot, laughing and being silly and it was a blast. Hubby had gotten this session as a gift for his lady love, which was awesome. Basically, the two of them are so visibly in love its a beautiful thing to behold and I often felt like I was doing an engagement portrait session! Love it. Plus, their pad was picture perfect - lots of graphic prints and neat colors - this is just a fraction of the utter gorgeousity! Haha. Enjoy a sneak peek - can't wait to show you guys the rest!
