This sweet family is very near and dear to my heart. I've gotten to know them so well over the years since photographing the birth and first years of Max's life and now the birth of his new baby sister Stella. As always, it was great to catch up with them and photograph their newest addition. Here are a few of my favorite images from their latest session with miss Stella.
What a darling baby Jay Evan was - look at all that hair! He was such a cute little newborn, and such a sweet guy with great disposition - completely tolerant and curious as we all were totally enthralled by him. He and his parents (and both of his Grandmas too!) were such delightful people, so kind and fun to photograph. I loved their precious candids - mom and dad just gazing at him adoringly. And how great is dad's extensive music poster collection? Who says baby photography can't be rock and roll? Such a neat time - thanks for having me there to photograph it :)
I caught up with little Arlo this week and finally got to meet his new brother, Sage! I always have a blast with this family so I was excited to meet their newest addition and he certainly did not disappoint, he's totally adorable :) Arlo kept me giggling the entire session with his commentary of the morning's sights and smells and I left with a TON of fun images. I'm posting a bit more than usual this time, I just couldn't help myself! I also included a photo of a mixed media piece Arlo made for me last year, it's currently above my desk at the office, thanks Arlo!!
