Van and Sophie - Van is Walking!!! {Los Angeles Family Photographer}

This family is just plain phenomenal. I've been capturing them since Van was but a bun in the oven and now he is SO on the move and completely hysterical/adorable and sweet Sophie is continuing to glow with personality (can you believe those expressive eyes??) - and this entire crew just is a total delight to be around in general, and no matter how many sessions I do with them, they always show me some new joy that is the world around us - they have such sparkle and are totally candid - I hope I get to capture them forever, for real. Over time I've gotten to know them pretty well and learned that not only is Melanie a super fun multi-tasking Mama but she also is one of the amazing fertility specialists/OBGYNs at Valley Center for Reproductive Health. Can I just say I'm totally loving having some of their images in BW, there is such sweet emotion there - no doubt if you peer at our blog and site from time to time you'll recognize their images cropping up all over since they got pregnant with Van. I love their funny faces, sweet smiles, piggy back rides, and Van talking on his shoe! haha Thanks for yet another wonderful and inspiring session - always wonderful to see you guys - enjoy your sneak peek!

Beautiful Baby Emeri {Los Angeles Baby and Family Photographer}

This family was a delight. From the moment I walked in I simply adored them - they were SO sweet and fun, and baby Emeri was so glowy and lovely. AND both Grandmas were there! It was awesome to have them around, and what a wonderful and upbeat environment for Emeri - her parents and GMas were such a blast, keeping me laughing the whole time and trying to get as many giggles out of sweet Emeri as possible - and we even got a few shots with their kitty (the first baby!). Baby Sophia is Growing Up! {Downtown Los Angeles Family Photographer}

We love all the families we meet and photograph, its the truth - they are all so unique and fun. But it is so interesting to get to know them as they grow - and that is the case with beloved Sophia and her mom and dad - I first captured her at 3 months when she was just a tiny little princess and now she has gotten so big! I can't believe it, she is SO on the move and next time we see her she is going to be walking! It never ceases to amaze us how time flies, but it is simultaneously quite magical to be able to be a part of documenting all these stages in these families lives, to see them change and grow. This session was cool because we did some indoor in their home and then ventured outside in the lovely urban garden, which Sophia just loved to explore and mom and dad just love to watch her. Thanks for a wonderful session yet again, looking forward to seeing you three for your final shoot :)

Meet Baby Camille and big bro Caden {Los Angeles Family Photography}

From the moment I stepped in the door I knew Camille was going to be a doll - she just was SO MELLOW. What a sweet baby, and can you believe that cherubic little face? She kept her cool through all her wardrobe changes and her mom and my different ideas and just kept on smiling and looking adorable! The whole family was really fun and even though it was a bit of a gloomy day we even managed to get some lovely shots in their beautiful backyard. Meet an adorable crew: little Elias, August and big sis Hazel! {Los Angeles Family Photos}

Just too. much. fun. This family is wonderful. We've known their mom for some time so it was a pleasure to get to capture them all together, and what a beautiful and adorable group. They were up for anything and totally rolled with all of our ideas and each kid is SO darn smart, whether quizzing us on our vocab (I'll admit, Hazel had me stumped on a few - she's a smart cookie!), current repertoire of jokes or telling us a wonderful and imaginative story (August LOVES trains!) - they kept us endlessly entertained and we left the session completely and totally charmed.
