Baby Dawson! {Santa Monica Baby Photographer}

We are officially back to blogging! We've been on a bit of a "blog hiatus" lately but we are back in the saddle and catching up on posting some of our recent sessions.

I photographed this beautiful family last week at their home in Santa Monica and little Dawson left quite the impression! He is by far one of the most expressive babies I have ever met which made for some pretty adorable photos. I was literally laughing out loud while I was editing his photos today, his grumpy faces get me every time! This little man means business! I'm so excited to be able to be documenting Dawson as he grows over the course of this next year so keep your eyes peeled for many more entertaining photos of the little guy :)

Garden Party for the Poppas! {Brentwood Baby Photography}

This group was soooooo much fun! The shoot was orchestrated as an early Father's Day surprise by the Moms - it was such a fantastic idea as they are all good friends. They had a little backyard barbeque and had us over to capture the good times.

Little Caroline, Charlie and Jack were so SWEET together - Charlie even planted a kiss on Caroline towards the end of the shoot - you can't plan this stuff folks, only be ready with the camera, haha! You should have heard the whoops and hollers and laughter. It really was a ton of fun - thanks for having us!

FYI for all our blog readers and clients: This is the first posting of our "Garden Parties" sessions - a new product we are offering for families who want to do their sessions together on the same day! We are so excited about it :) Many clients have been asking for it and we haven't advertised it as an option until now - but we just love doing it! Little Emily! {Culver City Family Photographer}

This family was absolutely a delight - and little one-year old Emily was a riot! Doesn't she just have the sweetest face and most darling Audrey Hepburn haircut??? Mom made the tutu herself (how awesome is that?? I told her she should sell them on Etsy!) We had a lot of fun - and I even managed to snap one of Emily and one of her dogs Scooby before he darted away. Love it when we can get a shot of the furry members of the family!

Baby Lucas! {La Mirada Baby Photography}

I photographed baby Lucas last week with his mom and grandma in La Mirada. From the moment I met the little man I knew it was going to be a fun session. Lucas is an incredibly happy baby and the laughs and giggles were contagious. He's not yet crawling but is an expert roller and kept us all on our toes as he rolled around the bed giggling. I got a ton of adorable smiley photos of baby Lucas which made narrowing down my favorites for the blog pretty difficult but at least mom and grandma have a lot to choose from - looking forward to showing you the rest! :) Enjoy!

The Berlin Family at Home {West Hollywood Family Photographer}

The Berlins own and operate an amazing practice here in Los Angeles that specializes in postpartum wellness. Their practice (Berlin Wellness) has evolved over the years to include providers of chiropractic, acupuncture, massage therapy, nutrition, mental health care, and they just added a breastfeeding specialist! We have gotten to know this family pretty well and were super excited when they asked us to photograph them in all their beautiful and loving chaos. We both went to photograph them at their home in West Hollywood and had a blast - the kids are loving, boisterous and hysterical while their parents are the epitome of calm and amazing (as we already knew)! Papa Elliott is always cracking his trademark jokes and keeping everyone laughing while Momma Alyssa is so mellow and in control... they are truly an inspiring duo. The newest addition to the Berlin family is expected any day now and we can't wait to see their little face!
