Los Angeles Baby Photo...
I met this little man and his parents a few weeks ago at their super swanky home in Westchester. Kainoa was just over a week old when I photographed him and I still can't get over how tiny he is! He was still in the middle of the "sleepy newborn" phase which was SO adorable and made it pretty easy for us to pose him in all sorts of different places :) Here are a few of my favorite photos from Kainoa's session, enjoy!
Parker was such a sweetheart and so were his parents - they were so jazzed about their darling little mister and were super mellow and just lovely to capture. What a nice session. And did I mention they were super-hip? Their uber-chic loft downtown was decked out like we were in an issue of Elle Decor - which, if anyone knows us, you know we love beautiful color and environment! Very cool. Loved doing set-ups amidst the fun colors and backgrounds and vintage furniture - and speaking of classic, I got to capture Parker in his grandfather's beautiful basinette! Their first babies - their two pups - were there for the shots as well which we always love. I photographed this lovely family this past week in their new home in Pasadena with their new daughter Emma! Emma's big brother was also on hand for the session and was VERY loving with his new baby sister :) Emma was just two weeks old but was so alert and already full of personality, following and even smiling at the camera! Oh. My. Goodness. I had too much fun at this shoot. I was snapping AWAY! Baby Bode was just too handsome, and totally content to snooze and snooze through my snap-happiness (through multiple set-ups, changes, locations and even an ADORABLE lion hat!!!) and that was fine with me - he was sooooo sweet, as were his lovely parents and grandparents who were total delights to capture. Um, can you tell mom and dad are smitten (both with each other and their gorgeous baby boy!) - it was such a lovefest session. Bode is just such a mellow kid. It is also so fun when we get to do newborn sessions and the grandparents are in town visiting the new arrival - its great to be able to have them there to step into a few photos and capture this magical time. I photographed this sweet baby girl last week at her home in Malibu and boy was she beautiful! I still can't get over those sweet blue eyes :) Ella's momma scheduled the session as a surprise for Ella's dad for his very first Father's Day, I'm sure he is one proud poppa.
