What a fantastic backyard party Joshua had! It was another FANTASTIC party by Sarah Ro (click here for her previous fantastic party) and the cowboy theme was just too perfect for words. Lucille’s BBQ catered and the entertainment was a balloon artist and bubble show. I photographed little Emma’s party this month at Roy’s in Pasadena and it was so great to see her and her family again. I photographed her as a newborn so it was a little surreal to catch up with her a year later. Here are a few of my favorite images from her beautiful birthday celebration!
Last month we documented Hailee and Micah’s SUPER fantastic Hawaiian party at Roy’s in Pasadena. The twins had so many cute outfit changes it was hard to keep up but each look was more fabulous than the last! Entertainment was provided by Ben Gordon who created some great balloons and Hawaiian shaved ice by Kianakai was served for dessert! I’ve been photographing Rylan since the day he was born so I was SO excited to be able to document his first birthday and celebrate this milestone with him and his family. The party took place at a private beach park in Orange County with the most spectacular view of the ocean. Mom and Dad were the ultimate “do-it-yourself-ers” and the results were spectacular! We documented Max’s first birthday party a few weeks ago at Saladang Song in Pasadena and had such a great time. Max was not only walking, he was running! He mingled and schmoozed with every one of his guests and seemed to be having a great time being the center of attention. The venue was beautiful and modern and got great light which I loved Max’s mom did a great job with the table and grandma did the cake! The party was a huge hit and we were so glad to be able to capture it all. Here are just a few of my favorites from Max’s big day…
This party was awesome – this group was awesome. Everyone was so. Much. Fun. Individually, each table was having a blast and there was so much for everyone to do and there was so much laughing and the whole gang clearly adored one another, it was a fantastic environment – it was great to capture. They had quizzes for the crowd, fun prizes and a silly snap-shot photo booth in the back complete with stick-on moustaches and disguises that everyone was passing around table to table (you know we loved that!). The birthday boy, little Ethan, is such a gem – he just sits through everything calmly – assessing the situation and smiling happily just like he did for his “Destroy the Cake™” session earlier in the month (which was so fun!). Thanks for having us to your wonderful party, we adore you guys!
