I met Susie and Bart last month in Venice Beach and we had a blast wandering along the boardwalk together taking pictures. These two are a pretty fun-loving couple so Venice Beach was the perfect fit for them! After goofing off at the boardwalk we went down to the canals to take a few more traditional portraits and finally down to the beach at magic hour… so beautiful

I had a blast yesterday photographing Kirsten and Marvin in the park with their precious pooch, Venus. Kirsten was such a beautiful subject to photograph and thanks to America’s Next Top Model had picked up some pretty good posing techniques… thanks Tyra Of course Marvin and Venus made for great subjects as well. Marvin was super cooperative and very patient throughout the entire session while Venus (who was clearly distracted by the strange sounds of the outdoors) kept her cool and even posed for some head-shots of her own.

This beautiful girl was much anticipated. I photographed her parents for their Expecting session not that long ago and we had so much fun, so I was thrilled to come back and do their newborn portraits! I love getting to see these amazing couples interact as their lives change and grow. It is truly beautiful – and talk about beautiful, little Ainsley was just that! So serene and sweet. And Grandma was even in town for a generational shot! Looking forward to showing you guys the rest – thanks for another wonderful session!

I had such a blast photographing this couple yesterday afternoon, words can’t even express what a joy they were to be around. We traveled all around Rancho Palos Verdes together, stopping at several different beautiful spots and eventually we ended up at Trump National Golf Course… in the exact spot where they were married just three years ago! I had such a hard time picking my favorite images to use on the blog but after agonizing over it all afternoon I finally narrowed it down to the images below. Cindy and Jesse were such good sports at this shoot! The conditions on this day were less than ideal (it was super muggy after days of rain and the bug situation was out of control) but you would never know it looking at their photographs. Despite the challenges the weather brought this couple kept me laughing throughout the entire shoot and we ended up having a really good time together. Thanks again Cindy and Jesse, you guys were such troopers and I can’t wait to photograph the birth of your baby boy
